Daytime Activity Option I: Kennedy Space Center
Sunday, July 7 and Saturday, July 13, 2013

Worlds apart from Orlando's theme parks, but just a short drive away, Kennedy Space Center is NASA's launch headquarters. Each year, millions of visitors make the trek to this hub of technology and discovery where many of mankind's greatest accomplishments take place. Tour NASA's launch and landing facilities, experience live shows and jaw-dropping encounters with massive rockets as well as have the opportunity to meet a real member of NASA's Astronaut Corps. It's all what you can expect during an inspiring day at Kennedy Space Center.

There is much to see and do at the Visitor Complex, from live action theatrical shows to an educational Astronaut Encounter briefing. View 10-story high rockets from all eras of space exploration in the Rocket Garden, walk through a full-size Space Shuttle mock-up, enjoy IMAX Theater space films on gigantic five-story screens and see an actual Gemini program capsule on display. Shopping and food concessions are also available here for your enjoyment.

Lunch with an Astronaut is Held daily with seating at 12:15PM and lasting approximately one hour, this program offers an up close opportunity to share in the excitement of space exploration through the eyes and personal stories of one of NASA's best all while enjoying a buffet meal. You can ask questions, have photos taken with the astronaut and receive an autographed souvenir.

  • NOTE: Due to heightened security, the following items are not permitted into Kennedy Space Center: coolers, luggage or large bags, wrapped items, firearms of any type (with or without a permit - including law enforcement officers), live ammunition, pepper/mace spray, laser pointers, knives and other sharp objects, large beach umbrellas (hand held umbrellas are permitted). Backpacks are not permitted on launch days. Detailed searches will be conducted on all bags and purses. All electronic devices must be in working condition. No outside food items are permitted on property. All guests have to go through the metal detectors so please reduce the number of items you normally carry.
  • This tour involves walking in some locations. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.

Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour highlights the fascinating history of Walt Disney World Resort and provides backstage access to secret areas of Magic Kingdom Theme Park.

This approximately 4.5-hour walking tour explores the stories behind the remarkable creation and growth of Magic Kingdom Theme Park. Hear the intriguing story of Walt Disney and learn how his innovative ideas, revolutionary visions, creative philosophies and amazing accomplishments brought the Theme Park to life. One unforgettable highlight is a trip below Magic Kingdom Theme Park into the service tunnels known as the Utilidors. This is one urban legend that is absolutely, and almost unbelievably, true-the Guest accessible areas of Magic Kingdom Theme Park are actually on the second floor of a massive structure. Downtown Winter Park's charm is magnified in its details: hidden gardens and side streets that are home to unique stores, a farmer's market that attracts both locals and visitors alike each Saturday morning and festive parades that make the seasons.

Chez Vincent is located in the recently renovated artsy Hannibal Square of Winter Park and it's one of "the" places to dine in the Winter Park and Orlando areas. Chez Vincent was voted "Best New Restaurants" of 1997 by Scott Joseph and "Best Desserts" by the 1998 Golden Palm Restaurant Awards. Zagat 1999 "America's Top Restaurants." EVENING ACTIVITY OPTION I: Orlando City Soccer vs. Charleston Battery at the Historic
Citrus Bowl Stadium

Orlando City Soccer Club is the premier professional soccer sports franchise in Florida.
